What is Practice Mode?
Practice Mode helps you master difficult passages by starting at a slower tempo and gradually increasing speed. Set your target BPM and let Metro automatically ramp up as you build confidence and muscle memory.
Does Metro work offline?
Yes, Metro works completely offline. No internet connection is required to use any features.
How accurate is the metronome?
Metro uses high-precision timing and is accurate within 0.1 BPM. It's designed for professional musicians who need reliable, consistent tempo.
Can I use Metro with AirPods or Bluetooth headphones?
Yes, but Bluetooth audio has inherent latency. For the most accurate timing, we recommend wired headphones or your device's built-in speakers.
How do I change time signatures?
Tap the time signature display (e.g., "4/4") to open the time signature picker. Choose from common signatures or create custom ones.
What's included in Pro vs Free?
Free includes core metronome features with 4 time signature presets. Pro unlocks advanced metering options including additive meters, plus Practice Mode — which gradually increases tempo to help you master difficult passages.
How do I use tap tempo?
Tap the "TAP" button repeatedly at the tempo you want. Metro will calculate the BPM from your taps and set it automatically.
Can I use Metro in the background?
Yes, Metro continues playing when you switch to other apps or lock your screen. Enable background audio in your device's Settings if needed.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your settings and presets are stored locally on your device. We don't collect any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to request a refund.
